About Workato Lookup Tables

Lookup tables enable Workato recipes to efficiently store, reference, and manage frequently used data using a table of entry rows and value columns, similar to a cross-reference table.

They are used in recipes to replace data syncing between Unifyr Admin and your CRM with data accepted by the application receiving the data.  You can find the step that references a lookup table in the Child recipe in iPaaS.

For more information, see Workato platform documentation (this is an external site, we have no responsibility for the content).

Attention

If a recipe uses a lookup table, an object's data must match exactly in both source and target applications - including spaces. If there is any difference, the object will likely be rejected by the application receiving the data and the sync will fail.

To review lookup table data usage:

  1. Navigate to   > Settings > Integrations > iPaaS.
  2. In the Projects tab, go to the list of projects. Click on a project to open the syncs it contains. These relate to the types of object being synced in this direction.
  3. Choose an object type, then find and click on the Child asset/recipe that is syncing the data. For example, to view the mapped fields for the Leads syncing from Salesforce to Unifyr, select Salesforce to Unifyr | Deal | Child (note that the list of available assets and names varies by supplier - your list might look different).
  4. If the recipe references a lookup table, the relevant step shows the details.

  5. When you have the name of the lookup table being referenced, go to the Lookup Tables tab of the iPaaS page.
  6. Click on the relevant lookup table to open it, and ensure that the data matches exactly in both applications - including spaces.
