If your partner program supports co-selling, Unifyr One provides the option for you to connect partners with potential co-selling partners with a Co-Selling Partner Locator. You can add a Co-Selling Partner Locator to your partner portal, and eligible partners can search for a potential co-seller by geography, partner tier, or other criteria.
Note
The Co-Selling feature needs to be enabled on your system. Submit a request to your Unifyr One team if you want to use it.
A Co-Selling Partner Locator is available to eligible partners, and displays a certain set of partners, both defined by Partner Group. It gives access to information such as their name, address, contact details, and the products/services they offer. A partner's entry can include a contact form, a link to their marketplace, and custom information such as case studies or current co-selling projects. The address/location information is taken from specified fields from the partner's Company Profile.
One partner can identify and get in contact with any of your other partners that are eligible for co-selling via the Co-Selling Partner Locator. Once a partner has submitted a contact request, the Co-Selling Partner Locator generates an email notification and a lead for the contacted partner. The two partners can then communicate to decide how they can work together.
You as the supplier can trace the leads generated from a Co-Selling Locator in Unifyr One Admin. They’re listed in Leads & Deals > Distributed Leads with a Source of Co-Selling Locator. The lead lists the Originating Partner in its detail - this information will be carried over if the lead is converted into a deal.
This logic applies when deciding which partners should have access to the locator, appear in it, and be able to collaborate with potential co-sellers:
- The custom page containing the Locator is made available in the partner portal to certain partner group or groups, with its Visibility setting in the site navigation. For more information, see Adding Custom Pages to the Partner Portal and Manage Visibility of Pages in a Partner Portal.
- The partner group assigned to the Locator defines who is permitted to appear in the Locator. For more information, see Creating a Co-Selling Partner Locator.
- Co-Selling partner groups in Partner Explorer specifies which partners you permit to act as co-sellers. For more information, see Defining your Partner Co-Sellers.
Partner A can see Partner B in the Locator if:
- Partner B is a member of the same Co-Selling partner group as Partner A.
- Partner B is a member of the partner group linked to the Locator configuration.
