Overview
Unifyr One's Content Management and User-Content Association feature allows you to associate content owners with content in Unifyr One. Content Management can be used for Library Content, Collateral Programs, Campaigns, and Activities.
For example, your CT team is responsible for uploading and managing all content associated with the CT product line. Other Business Units in your organization may manage their own content for the partner portal. Unifyr One Admin allows you to associate each user with their particular set of content.
It is a Unifyr One best practice to always keep content fresh and relevant. To control this, suppliers use effective dates on each piece of content. Effective dates determine when the content becomes available to partners and when it should expire and be removed from the portal.
The benefit of using Content Management lies in the Unifyr One automated notifications, which are sent to content owners when their content is due to expire within the next 30 days. This gives each content owner the opportunity to adjust the effective dates of their own content, archive it or upload a new version of it.
Content owners can receive email notifications in advance of expiration for campaigns, activities, library content, or collateral programs.
- Suppliers can associate individual users with particular content types (for collateral assets) and/or specific content tags (for collateral assets and marketing activities)
- When users are associated with content they are notified via email if the content will expire in the next 30 calendar days.
- The email includes an attached .CSV file with content name, type, description, create date, activation date, expiration date, tag/content field values, and a hyperlink to the associated campaign, activity, asset or program.
- Users can click on the hyperlink in the report to take the following actions on the item that will be expiring:
-
Select Mark as Reviewed
The item is removed from the report and the content will expire on the assigned date.
-
Reset the expiration date
The item will continue to be available for users, until the new date.
-
- The email is sent once a week, on Saturdays, to users associated with the tag on the content.
Additionally, associated users see a banner when on the edit campaign, marketing activity, library content, or collateral program pages, alerting them that the content will expire within 30 days.
