Copying a Portal Post with Content

Note: These steps are for a post that includes its content (no Content URL, or created with Create Post > Post Editor). If your post includes a link to its content, see Copy a Portal Post with Linked Content.

If you are creating multiple, similar posts, such as an update for different Partner Groups or multiple product-specific announcements, it may be helpful for you to copy your original post.

When you copy a post, the details, page content, and any available translations are copied.

To copy a post with content, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Partner Portal > Posts.
  2. Click on the Post you’d like to copy, to open it.
  3. Click ... and select Copy from the dropdown menu.

A copy of the original post is generated, with the name Copy of <existing post name>.

  4. Click the pencil next to the name to open the Options panel.
  5. Make changes to the details of this new post. Ensure that you change the Internal Name (title) to something unique.
  6. Click Options to close the Options panel (or click the X in the top right corner).
  7. Use the WYSIWYG content editor to input or edit the content of the new post as required, by dragging and dropping content blocks, adding rows, and adjusting the settings.
  8. [Optional, if enabled] Click the language selector and add translations, or make changes to any existing translations, as required. For more information about translations, see Translate a Portal Post.
  9. Click Save.
