Overview
For each Opportunity or Deal registered, partners will need to know what they may offer from you and at what price. Making your Product listings and Pricebooks available in the partner portal will aid your your partners in the deal registration process. They can select the relevant Pricebook when creating a deal, then select a product from that Pricebook, and the quantity, to add a line item. The deal will show its total value.
If you subsequently choose to update a Pricebook, partners will see the new unit prices when adding line items to a deal. Any line items created before the Pricebook update will not be affected.

Add a Product
A Product is a unit of what your organization sells. This may be a physical product or a service. When you add a Product in Unifyr One you are simply declaring a name for a specific offering to allow you to track inventory and performance of that item.
- Navigate to Leads & Deals > Products.
- Click Create Product.
-
Provide the following information:
Parameter Type Description Product Name Text This is a descriptive name that differentiates this Product from all others. Product Code Text This is a reference code that will uniquely identify this Product. This is often shorter than the Product name to facilitate data-entry. Description Text This is a description of the Product that allows the end customer to determine if they are purchasing a Product that meets their needs. - Click Save. You can now add the Product as an entry in a Pricebook. For more information, see Create Product Entries for a Pricebook.
Create a Pricebook
Pricebooks allow you to set pricing for products. There are many reasons to create Pricebooks but the most common ones are:
- Mitigate the effect of currency fluctuations by providing country-specific Pricebooks using local currency. This allows your customers and partners to know exactly how much their purchase will cost.
- Provide Products at prices that reflect local prices. Adapting to the local market is a key element in remaining competitive.
-
Provide different pricing to different partners. Even in the same area, you may want to reward partners who sell more Product, for example with bulk discounts.
You can create Pricebooks and filter them to specific partner groups. You can also configure a standard Pricebook, which will display whenever no local Pricebook is available for a partner.
Before you create a Pricebook, you should create one or more Products.
- Navigate to Leads & Deals > Pricebooks.
- Click Create Pricebook.
-
Provide this information:
Parameter Type Description Pricebook Name Text The name of the Pricebook. Description Text More information about the Pricebook. Partner Groups Multi-select List The partner group(s) that will have access to this Pricebook. If no choice is made, the Pricebook will apply to everyone not included in the partner groups associated to other Pricebooks - it is considered the standard Pricebook. - Click Save.
You should now add Products (as Pricebook entries) to your Pricebook.
Edit Pricebook Details
- Navigate to Leads & Deals > Pricebooks.
- Click the name of the Pricebook you want to edit.
- Make changes as required.
- To delete the Pricebook, click Delete. This removes the Pricebook as an option for partners who currently have access to it.
- [Optional] Click Make Standard to make this the standard Pricebook for partners who don't belong to Partner Groups that have their own. Clicking this option will remove the standard status from the current standard Pricebook.
- Click Save.
Create Product Entries for a Pricebook
A Pricebook Entry adds a line for a Product to a Pricebook. You add an entry, link it to a Product, and specify its sale price when referenced from this Pricebook.
Pricebook Entries are added to a deal as Deal Line Items. A Pricebook Entry/Deal Line Item can include these prices:
- Sale/unit price - defined for the Product Entry (Price)
-
List price - defined for the Product Entry (List Price)
Submit a request to your Unifyr One team if you want to use List Prices. The field is enabled with the App Setting Pricebook Entry List Price.
Add the fields as required (or applicable) to the form for adding line items to deals. For more information, see Adding/Removing Fields in Forms.
They're then shown to the partner when they submit the deal with line items:
Tip
If you want to offer a bulk discount, you can enter a multi-unit version as a separate product with the appropriate pricing.
- Navigate to Leads & Deals > Pricebooks.
- Click the name of the Pricebook for which you want to create an Entry.
-
Click Create Entry at the top of the Pricebook Entries panel (right). Provide the following information for each new entry:
Parameter Type Description Products Text The Product or service that is offered. Price Number [Optional] The unit price that applies to the Product in this Pricebook. List Price (if enabled) Number [Optional] The list price that applies to the Product in this Pricebook. Currency Dropdown [Optional] The currency of the price. Select from the dropdown list.
