Creating Collateral Content Types

To create a new content type for collateral assets:

1. Navigate to Library Content > Collateral Library.

2. Go to the left sidebar, and review the list of content types that are already set up. Click Add.

   

3. In Create New Content Type, enter this information as required:

   Parameter	Type	Description
   Name	Text	The internal name for the content type - this is its identifier in the list of content types. The Name must be unique.
   Display Name	Text	The working name for the content type. This will be shown in: The Create New dropdown when creating a new collateral asset. The Content Type selection menu in   > Settings > Tag Management > Library Content.
   Visible to Partners	Checkbox	Whether assets of this type will be available to partners in the partner portal (enabled by default).
   Partner Filters	Checkbox	[Optional] The partner group(s) for which this content type will apply. Select the required group(s) from the drop down list, or click Advanced to create an adhoc filtering rule for this content type only. For more information, see Using Ad-Hoc / Single-Use Partner Groups. Note Filters on individual assets of this type will be applied in addition to the content type filter - the partner/user must match the Content Type filter AND the individual asset filter to have access to the asset.

4. Click Save.
