Overview
Partners nurture and qualify leads through sales and marketing activities. Unifyr One enables visibility and tracking across the lead lifecycle. Qualified leads are a valuable resource that often ends in the sale of a product or service.
By registering leads, partners help you to minimize the friction that potential competition for the same deal might cause with your internal sales teams or other partners.
Registration rules allow you to delegate some of the work of managing new leads to your partners. Each new rule can include multiple conditions, or groups of conditions, that are evaluated using Boolean logic. Every group (regardless of the number of conditions) must evaluate to TRUE for the rule to be applied to an incoming Lead Registration.
When enabling lead registration for your partners, you have the option to allow partners to anonymize their leads. With this setting, partners can create leads without the requirement to provide Personally Identifiable Information (PII) about the lead, specifically email address and phone number. The partner may still choose to include this information, but will not be required to do so. This setting is particularly helpful in building mutual trust between you and your partners.

How to Create Lead Registration Rules
- Navigate to Leads & Deals > Lead Registration.
- Click Rules in the left navigation.
- In the Lead Registration Rules screen, click Create Rule.

In the Create New Rule screen, provide the following information:
Parameter Type Description Name Text User-friendly identifier for this rule. Description Text Information about this text to support administrators. Partner Filters Text [Optional] By default, the rule will be applied to all partners. If you would like to change this, click the edit button to open a pop-up selection window. Click Apply at the bottom of the screen to close and save your filters. Registration Rules Select an object type, object, condition, and value that a new lead must match to be automatically registered.
The object type is the thing that will be considered (e.g. Lead) and will determine the options available in the other fields.
The object type (e.g. Lead Score) is the area that will be considered.
The condition is what will be evaluated (e.g. Greater Than).
The value is the result that will cause the rule to evaluate to true (e.g. 50).
- [Optional] Add another rule to the rule group.
- [Optional] Add another rule group with other rules.
- Click Save.
Once you have created the rules, you will need to give partners access by adding the Leads bundle to a portal page. For more information, see Adding Feature Bundles/Pages to a Partner Portal.
How to Edit a Lead Registration Status
Permission Required
This feature is not available to all suppliers. Submit a request to your Unifyr One team if you're interested in using it.
This feature allows you to keep a more accurate record of partner-registered leads in Unifyr One. Follow these steps to update the status of a registered lead:
- Navigate to Leads & Deals > Lead Registration. You will see a full list of leads that have been registered by your partners.
- Click on the lead you want to update, to open it for edit.
- Click Edit.

Click to expand the Registration section at the top of the page.

Select the new status from the Status dropdown list:
- Pending
- Accepted
- Rejected
- Expired
- Click Save.
Access a Registered Lead's Attachments
If a partner has included attachments with a registered lead, you can view and download them from the lead details page.
