Introducing Onboarding IQ, for intelligent, contextual guidance throughout the partner onboarding journey
Onboarding is a critical factor in partner engagement and channel success. You provide Onboarding Plans for your partners, giving them a set of tasks to complete so they have all the information they need to work effectively within your channel program. But it's not uncommon for new partners to lose momentum, fall behind, or disengage during onboarding. For that reason, we’ve introduced Onboarding IQ to help them and keep them on track.
Onboarding IQ is an onboarding progress tracker, which you can enable to give partners continuous recommendations, guidance, and encouragement until they’re ready to start working confidently toward productivity in your partner portal.
Onboarding IQ oversees a user’s progress against their assigned Onboarding Plan:
- Tracks progress automatically
- Lets the user decide how they want to navigate their onboarding journey
- Makes intelligent suggestions
- Gives context on why a task is important
- Celebrates task and milestone completion
- Surfaces incomplete tasks
- Sends personalized reminders when progress stalls
The proactive guidance from Onboarding IQ helps partners get up and running quickly, but also reduces the need for manual oversight and follow-up from you.
For more information, see About Onboarding Partners and Automated Assistance with Unifyr IQ's AI Agents.
Note
The option to provide Onboarding IQ for your partners must be enabled on your system. Submit a request to your Unifyr team if you're interested in using it.
Partners can switch between their AI assistants
Ask IQ can now include a context switcher, where partners can choose which type of portal support they want to use (depending on which of these you've enabled for them):
- Ask IQ - AI assistant
- Onboarding IQ - portal onboarding guide and tracker
Note
You may not have enabled the Ask IQ chat option for your partners. In this case, they’ll still click the IQ icon to access help, but will land directly into Onboarding IQ (if that’s enabled - if you haven't applied any AI-powered guidance to your portal, the IQ icon won’t be available).
Ask IQ is easier to use
We've made a small but effective improvement to how suppliers and partners interact with their Ask IQ AI assistant (if you've enabled it) - users can now send multi-line prompts. Use Shift + Enter or a soft line break to break up the text.
Set up your page views in Unifyr Admin
Any search criteria, filters, and sorting you apply in a Unifyr Admin listings page are now retained across sessions, so the view you've set is always presented to you when you leave and come back to the page.
We've also added a color indicator to show which filters have values picked.
View the Deals being worked with co-selling partners
If partners are working in a co-selling partnership, all partners that are assigned to a deal now have it listed in the Deals page of their partner account in Unifyr Admin. This helps you track and manage co-sell activity in one place.
Note
The Co-Selling feature needs to be enabled on your system. Submit a request to your Unifyr team if you want to use it.
New look Collateral Programs page
We continue to modernize and update the Unifyr Admin UI, this time bringing an improved layout and new capabilities to the details page for a Collateral Program.
- A cleaner, more intuitive admin experience
- Program metadata, assets, tags, and statistics arranged in a card-based layout for enhanced visibility
- Reorder collateral assets in the program using drag-and-drop instead of multiple arrow clicks
Take more control of record linking in your CRM data syncs
We recently added the option to edit existing External IDs for data records (see the release note here). We've now extended that, to allow users with the required permission to add an external ID to records that don't already have one.
Users with the System Management > Integrations permission (or internal Unifyr users) can add or edit External ID for these objects:
- Partners
- Partner Users
- Leads
- Deals
- Deal Accounts
- Custom Object submissions
Read-only training PDFs
The browser toolbar is now hidden when partners view PDF content of training courses. This has two benefits:
- It's a cleaner, more focused reading experience
- It removes a back-door Download option for partners

Organize your Deals list into Account order
We've added Account to the column sorting options for the Leads & Deals > Registered Deals listing.
Deal IQ's insights shown in partners' Deal records
With the new and improved Deal IQ, which we announced on 03 May, AI-based deal agents give insights into the progress of active deals. The data that has been generated by an agent is now surfaced in the partner's view of a deal, in a chronological listing - the partner clicks Deal Analysis to access it.

Keep a track of your AI spend in Unifyr
Unifyr now tracks and manages AI usage through a credit-based system. Suppliers have an allocated budget and AI services are debited against that budget. Unifyr gives you full visibility into your AI spend, and built-in controls to keep services running smoothly.
How it works
- Each supplier receives a monthly AI credit budget - 75,000 by default. The budget resets on the 1st of every month.
- Suppliers may also have additional credits - that’s either based on their contractual agreement with Unifyr or they can make an adhoc request directly from the platform.
- Each enabled AI agent’s actions draw from the supplier’s budget at a fixed credit cost and this is tracked on an overall basis, per partner, and per agent type.
- AI services pause automatically when spend hits any configured overage threshold (e.g. 200% of allocation).
Track your AI credit usage
We’ve added a new page to give you full visibility of your AI credit usage. Navigate to > Settings > AI Settings > Reporting > Credit Usage.
The page provides this information:
- A dashboard view showing your current budget, monthly spend, available balance, and usage trends over time.
- The credit cost for each AI-powered feature (click the
button)
- A direct link to request additional credits
Know if you’re exceeding your AI budget
A banner appears on the homepage and the Credit Usage page when the budget or overage threshold is exceeded, and services will no longer work. The warning includes a quick link to inquire about purchasing more credits.
A supplier user will see a message when they try to launch an AI-powered service, for example creating a social post via AI:
Easily navigate your Deals list
We've added some new view/filter options to the Leads & Deals > Registered Deals page in Unifyr Admin, which make it much easier for you to find the deals you want to view:
- Account Country - column and filter
- Submit Date - filter
- Close Date - filter
- Co-Selling Partner (if Co-Selling is enabled with the Enable Multi-Partner Selling App Setting) - filter
Partners can update a deal's key stakeholders
Partners can now update the contacts that are assigned to a deal from within the deal record. Previously they'd have to leave the deal and make the update in the Contacts page.

Choose your currency when creating Deals
We've added currency support to deal creation in Unifyr Admin.
If you include the Currency field on the Deal Registration Admin deal creation form, you can select from one of Unifyr's available currencies. For more information about managing your deal form, see Form Configuration.
We've also extended the list of supported currencies - see the next release note.
See more currencies when creating Deals and MDF transactions
We've extended our list of supported currencies - we've added these:
- AED - UAE Dirham - د.إ
- BMD - Bermuda Dollar - BD$
- CLP - Chilean Peso - CLP$
- COP - Colombian Peso - COL$
- CRC - Costa Rica Colón - ₡
- DOP - Dominican Peso - RD$
- GTQ - Guatemala Quetzal - Q
- JMD - Jamaican Dollar - J$
- JOD - Jordanian Dinar - د.أ
- PAB - Panama Balboa - B/.
- PEN - Peruvian Sol - S/
- THB - Thai Baht - ฿
- TTD - Trinidad & Tobago Dollar - TT$
These are available for use in deal registration (in Unifyr Admin and portal), for MDF transactions (in Unifyr Admin and portal, if enabled), and when you're creating entries for your pricebooks.
For a full list of supported currencies, see Supported Currencies.
Quickly view your in-platform notifications
We've made it easier for you to review your notifications in the Notifications area of Unifyr Admin, especially if the list is long. We've added some new actions:
- Distinguish between Read and Unread
- Mark as Read (single, multiple or all) - hover over a message to expose the selector
- Delete (single, multiple or all)
Get analytics about your channel program (Engage subscriptions)
If you're subscribed to Unifyr at Engage level, you'll now see an updated set of default reports when you visit Analytics & Reports in Unifyr Admin.
Other updates
We've made some small but useful improvements in this release too:
-
External IDs removed for deleted partners
We now clear a partner's SSO Company ID and any other external IDs (as used by CRM Integrations) when the partner is deleted. The IDs are removed, and can be reused, when the partner is deleted via API request or Data Hygiene action.
Note
If you deactivate a partner account, rather than delete it, its external IDs are retained.
-
Clean up of social post content draft page
When you're creating social posts for your partners in Unifyr Admin, the editor had buttons to apply bold, italic, or underline formatting. Since these options aren't supported in Facebook, X, or LinkedIn posts, we've now removed them to avoid confusion.

Introducing new and improved Deal IQ
We previewed the first iteration of Deal IQ a few months back, an AI-based agent that gives you and your partners 24/7 automated guidance through the deal management process, reviews deal actions, predict outcomes, and pushes notifications to show progress, encourage deal closure or give insights on potential risks.
We’ve been improving the agent steadily over that time, based on customer feedback and industry best practices. Now the new version is ready - here’s what it offers you now:
-
Additional supplier notification recipients
As well as the deal owner and the partner’s account manager, who always receive notifications from Deal IQ, you can add other recipients.
Use the new Recipient option for a Deal IQ agent in > Settings > AI Settings > Agents > Deal IQ - you can select individual users or a general user role:
-
Improved notifications for suppliers
Notifications sent to supplier users from the agent are styled and formatted, instantly highlighting key data.
They include links to the deal being discussed, and feedback options to help the agent learn how best to assist you.
-
Deal IQ insights shown in the deal details page
There’s a new style page for deals - it’s read-only, with the option to click Edit to update the deal’s details.
A Deal IQ Analysis timeline gives a chronological listing of the AI-driven insights generated by the relevant Deal IQ agent.
Note
AI Agents need to be enabled on your system. Submit a request to your Unifyr team to discuss using them.
For more information, see About Deal IQ or Configuring AI Agents.
Quickly review a deal
We've introduced a new, modernized details page for deals. Everything you need to review a deal is front and center for easy access, and you can approve, reject, or expire it without having to enter edit mode.
If enabled on your system, Deal IQ is incorporated, surfacing AI-powered analysis alongside your deal data so you can assess health, spot risks, and act fast.
Close your Leads for stage updates
When a lead is at a stage such as Qualified, you may not want your partners to be able to progress it further. We've added the option for you to set a Partner Locked setting on available Lead Stages (custom and default) - if a lead is at a locked stage, the partner does not have an Update Stage button for it in the portal.
To view available Lead Stages, and create custom ones, go to > Settings > Forms & Fields > Lead > Register > Stages.
For more information about custom Lead Stages, see Adding and Managing Custom Lead Stages.
Submit product suggestions to Unifyr
The Unifyr Product team relies on insights from our customers and users to understand what they actually need, and how existing features can be improved to support their business processes. Your inputs help us decide what to prioritize next.
You can now submit product suggestions, insights, and feedback to Unifyr in a dedicated portal.
Navigate to > Help > Customer Product Portal in Unifyr Admin.
Here you can review the list of change requests, vote on ones you want to see implemented, and submit ideas of your own. You can also indicate if a suggestion doesn't have any relevance for you and your business.
For more information, see Submit Product Suggestions to Unifyr.
