Unifyr supplies, tracks, and manages your AI usage through a credit-based system. Suppliers have an allocated budget and AI services are debited against that budget. Unifyr gives you full visibility into your AI spend, and built-in controls to keep services running smoothly.
This is a summary of the process:
- Each supplier receives a monthly AI credit budget - 75,000 by default. The budget resets on the 1st of every month.
- Suppliers may also have additional credits - that’s either based on their contractual agreement with Unifyr or they can make an adhoc request directly from the platform. Submit a request to your Unifyr team if you want to change your allocation, or click Request More Credits in the Credit Usage page.
- Each AI agent or service that's enabled on your system draws from your budget at a fixed credit cost. For more information about the costs, reach out to your Unifyr team.
- Credit spend is tracked on an overall basis, per partner, and per agent type. You can view your spend analysis in > Settings > AI Settings > Reporting > Credit Usage. For more information, see Tracking your AI Spend.
- AI services pause automatically when spend hits any configured overage threshold (e.g. 200% of allocation). For more information, see If you Exceed your AI Credits.
Tracking your AI Spend
The > Settings > AI Settings > Reporting > Credit Usage page shows your usage against your AI credit allocation. The data is represented in several ways:
- Summary and health check for the current month
- Budget Details - Calculation of your consumption against your monthly budget, plus the option to request more credits
- Budget Utilization - Graphical indication of your spend against this month’s allocation (100%) and your spending cap (200%)
- Monthly Trend - Trend graph showing what you’ve consumed v your budget, for the last 6 months
- Credits by Agent - Consumption breakdown by each enabled AI agent
- Agent Details - the number of credits consumed by each enabled AI agent
- Credit Usage by Partner - List of the 20 partners that have consumed the most credits
If you Exceed your AI Credits
As well as a monthly budget for AI credits, you’ll have an assigned overage value, usually set to 200%. This is the threshold at which Unifyr decides that you’ve exceeded your total credit limit, and will put a stop to your AI services until credits reset at the beginning of the month or you purchase more credits.
A banner appears on the homepage and the Credit Usage page when the overage threshold is exceeded. The warning includes a quick link to enquire about purchasing more credits.
Click Inquire About More Credits to view the packages that are available to purchase, and send an upgrade request to your Unifyr team.
If your credits have run out, a user will see a message when they try to launch an AI-powered service, for example a supplier creating a social post via AI in Unifyr One Admin:
Or a partner trying to launch a conversation in Ask IQ:
