About Automations

With our Automations feature, suppliers can set up a simple workflow that will send an email to a specified recipient, partner role, or supplier user/role when triggered by a specific event.

For example:

  • Notify all partner Admin users when one user updates the organization's company Profile in the portal
  • Notify CAMs when a partner activates a new campaign in the portal

Suppliers can manage a set of templates that can be used to generate automation emails.

Your users can access the feature by clicking   > Settings > System Messaging. The System Messaging area provides two tabs to support the Automations feature:

  • Automations - list of Automation workflows

Before You Begin

Create the email templates that will generate the emails before setting up an Automation. You select a template as part of the Automation configuration. For more information, see Creating a Template for Automation/Reminder Emails.

Ensure that your From email address is configured and verified, if required - if not, emails will be sent from the default notification@email.unifyr.com address. For more information, see Authenticating the From Address for Emails and Email Configuration.
