Creating a Template for Automation/Reminder Emails

Unifyr One's Automations and Reminders features allow you to set up a workflow that will send email notifications to identified recipients when a particular event occurs.

Note

The Reminders features needs to be enabled on your system. Submit a request to your Unifyr One team if you’re interested in using it.

You can use your own custom templates for the emails, ensuring each one has a consistent format, and represents your own brand and voice.

To create an template for an Automation/Reminder email:

1. Navigate to   > Settings > System Messaging.
2. In System Messaging, navigate to the Custom Emails tab in the left sidebar.

3. Click Create Email.

   

4. In Create Email, enter this information as required:

   Field	Description
   Name	The name of the template.
   Active/Inactive	Toggle the setting to confirm whether this email can be selected when creating an Automation workflow.
   Object	[Optional] The type of data that will be included in the email.  If you select an object here, merge tags (placeholders) for data of that type will be available for selection in the email Content area. You can select Lead, Deal, MDF, or any of the Custom Objects that you have set up in your system.
   Content	Use the WYSIWYG Editor to create the content for your email template. For information on the options available in the editor, see Content Blocks and Properties in the Page/Email/Post Editor. You can include merge tags to add placeholder for partner or partner user data to be autogenerated for each recipient. For example, the sentence {{partner.name}} has registered for the 2025 Product Webinar includes a merge tag to have the partner name populated from the user’s details. In addition, merge tags for lead, deal, MDF, or custom object data are available if you've selected any of these data types in Object.

5. Click Save to preserve your changes or Save and Close to finish creating the template. The template is added to the Custom Emails list. If it’s active, it’ll be available to select when you're creating an Automation/Reminder workflow.
