Overview
One-size-fits-all communications or engagement of your partner community are not effective in producing results. Instead, targeted communications and information access with clear calls to action help your partners build high-performing pipelines and meet sales goals. We designed Unifyr One to support the diverse needs of your organization as you segment your partners.
You can manage all of your partners from the Partner Explorer view. In this view, you can view partners, add new partners, and search and filter to manage your partner accounts, pending partners, and invited partners.
-
In the Partner Accounts view, you can add new partner accounts, filter to view partners by certain criteria, export partner & user lists, and perform bulk operations.
You can manage individual partners by clicking on the partner name. For more information, see Manage Individual Partner Details.
- In the Pending view, you can manage potential partners wishing to join your Channel Program. These partners have either completed the Partner Registration Form or have been invited by your Organization to join the Portal.
- In the Invited view, Admin users can view partner invitations. Admins send invitations to potential partners and the partner can then accept or reject the invitation.
Intended Audience
Channel Marketing Leader, Channel Sales Leader, Partner Marketing Director
Before You Begin
- Consider reviewing and updating your partner information on an annual basis. Having up-to-date partner data will likely result in improved engagement.
- Determine how you want to manage new accounts. Do you want to approve every new partner account? Who should be notified via email when a new partner registers? Work with your Unifyr One team to create the workflow that is best for you.
- Note that the Search in the Partner view is for all the Partner views: Partner Accounts, Pending, and Invited. Using text, search for keywords or phrases. If searching a phrase, put quotation marks around the phrase to ensure proper functionality (e.g. “data security”).
Permission Required
- Supplier roles with the permissions Partner Management > Partner Management (general) and Partner Management > Create Partners can create partner accounts. For more information about roles and permissions, see Managing Permissions for User Roles in Unifyr One Admin.
- If you have an SSO integration, this feature will not be available to you.
If you have committed, prospective partners that are ready to obtain access to the Unifyr One Partner Portal, you can self-manage the partner account creation process.
